To know you is to know people who are kind, considerate and thoughtful. To know you is to be grateful for the special things you do. For everything you’ve done, for being the special people that you are, thank you so very much.

Activity theory states successful aging occurs when older adults stay active and maintain social interactions. Our goal as a community is to keep our residents active and provide many opportunities for enjoyment and interaction. We provide residents with many activities both within the facility and in the neighborhood that provide social interaction and are beneficial to their health.
Residents participate in exercise and game activities such as corn hole, ring toss, basketball and kickball. Other popular activities include bingo, listening to music played by SweetBriar’s talented residents and visiting groups, watching movies and eating popcorn together, bible study or cooking club. Residents also go on various outings throughout the year with special events during the holidays and a monthly birthday party that everyone may attend.
